Asia Album: Traditional wooden drums made in Sri Lanka

KADUGANNAWA, Sri Lanka, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Traditional handmade wooden drums from Sri Lanka have a unique sound and good quality, playing an important role in the country's rituals and dances.

The central region of Sri Lanka, especially Kadugannawa, is famous for the making and use of such drums.
