Myanmar seizes 30 Starlink devices in KK Park near Myanmar-Thailand border

YANGON, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Tatmadaw (armed forces of Myanmar) recently conducted operations in KK Park, located near the Myanmar-Thailand border, seizing 30 Starlink devices from U.S. space company SpaceX, the state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Monday.

According to the report, the Tatmadaw has been carrying out sustained clearing operations along the Myanmar side of the Myanmar-Thailand border since early September.

During the recent operations in KK Park in Kayin State, the Tatmadaw seized 30 Starlink receivers and accessories, searched more than 100 buildings, and found a total of 2,198 individuals involved in fraud and gambling activities, the report said.

The Tatmadaw will continue to carry out clearing operations with full force throughout the border areas, the report added.
