Oil tanker truck crashes into tea shop in Myanmar, killing 2

YANGON, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- An oil tanker truck crashed into a tea shop, killing two people and injuring six, in central Myanmar's Mandalay region, an official from the Amarapura Township Fire Services Department told Xinhua on Monday.

The accident occurred at around 6:44 a.m. local time on Monday in the township, he said.

The collision caused a fire that completely burned down the tea shop, he said, adding that the injured were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
