Cambodia's trade with ASEAN reaches 8.45 bln USD in H1

PHNOM PENH, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's trade volume with its fellow ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member states hit 8.45 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2025, an increase of 6 percent over the same period last year, an official report said on Thursday.

The country exported products totally worth 3.12 billion dollars to other ASEAN countries during the January-June period this year, up 16 percent year-on-year, while its total import amounted to 5.33 billion dollars, up 0.91 percent, said the report compiled by the Ministry of Commerce.

Cambodia's trade volume with the ASEAN accounted for 27.2 percent of the country's total trade volume in the first half of 2025, the report said.
