YANGON, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's security forces seized a large quantity of drugs and related production materials in Shan state, the state-owned daily Myanma Alinn reported on Thursday.

Acting on intelligence reports of suspected drug production, a joint team of security personnel conducted a clearance operation on Feb. 24 and confiscated drugs and narcotics-related materials near Wanlone village in Mong Hsat township, the report said.
