YANGON, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar earned over 5.72 billion U.S. dollars from the export of manufactured products in over 7 months (April 1 to Nov. 10) of the current 2023-24 fiscal year, the Ministry of Commerce said on Friday.
During the cited period, the figures showed a decrease of over 1 billion dollars compared to the corresponding period of the last fiscal year when it recorded over 7.17 billion dollars.
Myanmar mainly exports agricultural, animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and manufactured goods to its foreign trade partners, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India.
The manufactured goods sector is crowned with the highest export value in the list, followed by agriculture and fishery sectors among others, according to the ministry data.
As of Nov. 10, the Southeast Asian country's exports stood at over 8.91 billion dollars.
