Aimless rocket kills two Palestinian schoolgirls

A rocket allegedly fired at Israel by Palestinians on Friday fell short of its target killing two Palestinian schoolgirls.

The girls were aged 5 and thirteen, Palestinian medics said.

Three other children were injured in the attack.

The two victims who were cousins were named as Hanin Abu Khoussa (5) and Sabah Abu Khoussa (12).

Hamas police say they are investigating the cause of the blast, which occrred in Beit Lahiya village in northern Gaza.
